Home of the 11th Duke of Marlborough and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace is one of the largest and finest private houses in the country. It contains a superb collection of tapestries, paintings and furniture set in the magnificent State Rooms. Surrounding the Palace are over 2000 acres of 'Capability' Brown parkland formal and pleasure gardens. 2006 sees an extensive programme of events, including the Blenheim Palace Country Fair, two weekends of jousting, Christmas at Blenheim and Summer Nights concerts presented by Clearchannel Entertainment.
