Collection of waterbirds, over 2,300 birds of 180 different species. Also wild swans, geese and ducks which wander in and around the grounds. Lots of activities throughout the year. Very busy during migration. Has all six types of flamingo (only place in Europe). One of nine wetlands centres across the UK. Established by Sir Peter Scott in 1946. Also houses a top wildlife art gallery.
