New for 2006 is the launch of Europe's most extreme speed experience on a roller coaster. Stealth rises to a knee-weakening 205ft/62m and will launch riders into thrill heaven by achieving 0-80mph in 2.5 seconds with a gut-wrenching vertical lift and drop.

The impressive Stealth structure makes a huge impact on the Heathrow flight path completing the Park's 'unholy trinity' along with the worlds only 10-looping roller coaster Colossus and the emphatic Nemesis Inferno. The park also encompasses the sensational rides of Slammer, Europe's very first sky-swat taking riders on a full-throttle free-fall experience of sheer exhilaration and a world first in 2005, Rush, the largest ever giant speed swing.

Also on the list of 'must ride' thrill sensations for 2006 is the gravity-defying Detonator - an explosive, gravity-defying drop ride with a G-Force of 5.5, and, not for those with a fear of heights, is the vertigo-inducing Vortex which goes through 15 high speed rotations per minute whilst swinging back and forth 65ft in the air

Add in Tidal Wave, one of the highest water-drop rides in Europe that plunges riders a buttock-clenching 85ft through water, the world's first dark backwards coaster, X:/No Way Out and the white-water thrill-fest of the adrenaline-charged river ride, Ribena Rumba Rapids and Thorpe Park is undoubtedly the park to experience some of the best thrill rides in Europe.

For the young there is a wonderful range of more gentle thrills such as Fantasy Fish, Sea snakes and ladders, Neptune's Kingdom, Ollie Octopus and a whole lot more in Octupus Garden.
